Today we had technology we did not cook anything today because Mrs Tuipulotu was away.Instead we had a kind teacher named Mrs Heka she taught us about the equipment she uses in her own cooking class and told us a little bit about herself and what she does here at Tamaki Collage.We learnt about safety hazards in this picture the safety hazards I found were.A lady wearing slippers,Pets inside the kitchen,electric cord going across the kitchen when water is on the ground and the fridge was open.The Reasons choices I found were,Rubbish,dishes,meat left out, and open cans.This was the photo we had to identify the wrong things in there.We also did a word find and I got about 55% of it done the challenging thing about today was the word find and the best thing about today was meeting a new teacher.

Technology Reflection-Sweet chilli chicken

Today me and my partner michael made sweet chilli chicken.For technology we made sweet chilli chicken with rice the ingredients we used were,1.2 drum stick ,1/2c tsp,pepper,salt,mixed herbs,chilli sweet sauce.2,Marinade before fry until fully cook,wait till golden brown and serve it with rice.What I found challenging today was not making the chicken burn because we had to keep turning it and flipping it and what I found easy was topping the chicken with the spices and herbs next week we will be having a reliever because Miss Tuipulotu will not be here.I am looking forward to next term because we will be making even more better things and I can learn more.I am also going to try cook this at home.

potato salad and sausage,Technology

Yesterday at technolgy room 9 and ten went to technology and the cooking group which i'm in me and Metui made potato salad the ingredients were,(Ingredients) 2 eggs 1 red onion - Oil - 1 carrot - 4 pieces of ham - 3 potatoes - Mayonnaise - Sausages Materials we used - Colander - Tongs - 1 big bowl - Dicer - Plates - Forks - Spoon,It very nice and yummy to eat I forgot to write down how to make it but I got photos,Next week we are going to make cookies which I am looking forward to making with my friends and learning more about cooking.What I found challenging was slicing and dicing the red onion because my eyes got watery and It looks like I was crying and the good thing I liked was eating the salad at the end.

Technology,Cinnamon muffins

last week technology me and my partner Kira cooked cinnamon muffins with jam the ingredients were,S.R Flour, Sugar, Jam, Cinnamon, Materials: Wisk 2 Bowls Scrapper Teaspoon Muffin Trays Muffin Cups Measuring Cups,
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 2 - Add 1 and 1/2 cup of S.R flour into your bowl.
Step 3 - Then add 1/2 cup of sugar into the same bowl.  - After that, Add 1 egg, 1/3 of a cup of Oil and 1/2 of a cup of Milk into a bowl then mix it with the whisk. Step 4
- Then mix both of the two separate ingredients together. Step 5 - Put muffin cups into a muffin tray, Then pour the mixture into the molds. Step 6
 - Then mix 1 teaspoon of Brown Sugar and Cinnamon together in a little bowl.
Step 7 - Then in another little bowl, Put 1 teaspoon of Jam into it. Step 8 - Add a little bit of jam in the middle of each muffin mixture mold after you put in the mixture to make the muffin into the muffin cups. Step 9 - Add a pinch of Cinnamon on top of the muffin mixture and do it on ALL of the muffin mixtures. Step 10 - Then put the tray inside the oven and leave it there until it turns golden brown. Step 11 - Then when the muffins look good then take the tray out and your done.
You can use these ingredients and make them at home.

Technology reflection

Today we made oreo cookie smoothies for technology I was excited to make them because I have never made them before one of my challenges were holding the smoothie machine and not letting the smoothie spill everywhere.The equipment that we used was two bowls, a blender, two plastic cups, straws, measuring cups and a tablespoon. For the ingredients we used, Oreos, Milk, Whipped Cream and Chocolate Syrup.I worked with my cousin Frances it was a very cool experience and I cant wait till next week.

Technology reflection

This is my technology reflection for today what I have did today is drawed my concept ideas for me and the one I chose was the Mickey Mouse.What I found challenging was choosing one of the ideas and using it I was going to do the pikachu but I reckon the Mickey Mouse was better.Next time I need to start focusing on making the Mickey Mouse even.What are we making?We are making clocks and my clock is going to look like Mickey Mouse Who am I making in for ? I am Making this clock for my Nan because she likes Mickey mouse and I owe her a new clock because I broke it.

WHAT WE DID-Today we had to find a silhouette picture of anything for our clock what I choose was mickey mouse because I did It for my Nan because thats what she likes,We had to draw it on a draft paper then on to cardboard I cut it out and then put it onto another cardboard and traced it and cut it out so there could be 2.WHAT I ENJOYED TODAY WAS-Looking for the pictures because there was heaps to choose from and I found six that I drawed on my draft paper and I had to pick 1,And also making the most of my time was the best to do with my friends.WHAT I NEED TO IMPROVE ON NEXT TIME IS-Using different tools to help with my design,Having a growth mindset towards the pictures I choose,And also not tracing and using my drawing skills to help me out.

Types of Clocks

These are the different types of clocks we looked at during technology today,The one I am thinking about making is a dialog clock shaped as a star.some of these clocks are from the modern days like the sundial clock which was very rare back then.

What I like

Today for technology we were getting ready to make clocks and we had to make a DLO about what the person you're making it for likes and I am making the clock for me because I broke my clock at home on accident.So as you can see I like basketball,exercising,xbox,rugby,and sports.
