animals And we learnt How to make tug toys for the dogs

V8 Supercars

We went to V8 super cars For Mauri Ora It was fun And we were a VIP school It was Awesome We saw cars Like v8's Muscle cars,GT's,V8 Ute They were loud and want I learnt that It takes alot of effort to Drive any racing car.

Metting Andrew stroud

This Is one of the things we did for Our programme Mauri Ora and We meet a Cool Guy Andrew Stroud A A motorbike rider he came second in Sydney against Some Australian guy and was the nz national superbike champion he had won it nine times.
He Is A very good friend to John Britten Build the fastest motorbike Could the britten 1800cc
It was nice metting him he really inspired me THANK YOU ANDREW STROUD.

THE BIG REVEAL

THE MYSTERIOUS SURPRISE

When I arrived at school   My eyes were glued to the Whiteboard

It said After morning tea

I was thinking what could the big reveal be

but then we had to get our house numbers written on our hands.

I was in Benghazi (green) and the other teams were Tobruk (red) Alamein (yellow) and Tripoli (blue).

next the bell rang for morning.

The whole school walked to the dots

and they were all just waiting there to see what it was

1. but then I saw Miss Kyla holding sports gear.

Then Miss Fepulea'i stood up and said our new topic was Peaceful Play.

Then all the teams stood up Then we had to rotate and do A whole school boot camp some of us learned new exercises and stretches when we finished an exercise miss Kyla rang the bell to tell when to begin and start  doing

medicine ball races,squats,burpees,bunny hops,circuit,tricep dips, but they were all in one session.

When it was finished Mr Minton said that we can have an early and then we played rugby at lunch next I went home and fitness was our Big reveal.So I went home felling lazy so I went Sleep.

WAKA RECOUNT

Waka voyage

One hot summers day we were practicing for the waka heaps of times to go to point england beach to perform. today was the day we got the privilege to go to Point england Beach.When we arrived at Point england Beach we walk all the way near the beach and sit down and watch the waka sail to the beach.All the manaiakalani cluster schools were there also waiting for the hokule'a to arrive.I saw different colour uniforms surrounding us with pride and courage.I could see polynesian, micronesian, melanesian people waiting for the waka to arrive.

I could hear the Horn make a sound, It was pounding in my ears.  The horn reminded me of the last post I could smell the sea water going up my nose and giving me goose bumps.I shivered and we saw The Waka come and when the horn stopped we stood up and did a haka, then a 2 waiatas.

My eyes get tired blinking left to right in seconds I just couldn't stop blinking then a man did a speech Then He told that we could touch their hands to make them feel special everywhere they go.

So then we waited for The minute to shake their hand. When it was our turn we went up with tamaki pride and honor to be here in this place with hawaii people we shook there hand and gave the hope to be strong all the way When we finished we said goodbye and went back to school.  Next when we came to school I was thinking “that was the best day I ever had”.
